DISCOVERY INTERVIEW PROCESS…

This workshop is for anyone who interviews others.  It is especially effective in the diagnostic process as it uncovers issues not previously thought about or known.  This workshop is highly interactive and the goal is to increase the skillfulness of the interviewer. A brief introduction will be followed by a brief demonstration, and then practice sessions.  This workshop is based upon content from the book OD for the Accidental Practitioner and will help any interviewer get to the root cause and expand their knowledge of the organization.

About our facilitators:

Regan Miller and Larry Kokkelenberg

Regan Miller is a senior Human Resources Consultant at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM) Workforce Planning and Reshaping Division within OPM’s HR Solutions, providing OD and human capital management services to public-sector clients nation-wide.

Regan earned a B.S. in Psychology from Salisbury University, and a M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Baltimore. Most recently, Regan is pursuing her certification in Executive Coaching with the College of Executive Coaching.

Larry Kokkelenberg  recently retired from the Federal Government Office of Personnel Management,  where he was the chief of employee engagement and directed their Nationwide OD efforts with other Federal Agencies.    Previously he was on the faculty of the Federal Executive Institute  for 10 years working with senior level executives in the Federal Government.  He spent  11 years working for Franklin Covey as one of their top 12 senior consultants, working mainly with senior executives of the Fortune 100 clients as well as Government, military and law enforcement.  Prior to that he spent 25 years as president and founder of a small consulting and training organization providing services to clients world wide.

Larry received his BA degree from Benedictine University, an MSW from University of Illinois and a PhD from Union Institute and University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
