    Returning to Chicago after five years in Bel-gium, Janice is advising the UIC Institute for Policy and Civic Engagement and others in use of dialogue and deliberation in public engage-ment around policy and community issues. Previously, she worked for over a decade as a qualitative marketing researcher and advertis-ing brand planner for consumer products.
